Yoga for New Moms

Join us for therapeutic core release yoga designed to heal your postpartum body and soul.

This series of classes will help new moms as they transition into motherhood. Each class begins and ends with a supported shavasna and will focus on releasing the tensions at the core of the body starting at the base of the spine and working upwards.  Every pose is fully supported and individualized for each client. This is why my classes are small. There will be a special focus on the pelvic floor as well as providing a time and space to soothe the mind and soul of a new mom. 

$18 drop-in or $60 for 4 classes

About Parvati....A new mom myself, with a seven month old son born at home under the care of a great midwife, used my training in Svaroopa yoga to gently bring my body into balance. I decided that I wanted to offer a class for other new moms so that they too could experience the healing benefits of this gentle practice. 

I trained with the Master Yoga Foundation in Fallbrook and Philadelphia from 2004-2008 and completed the 500 hour yoga teacher training as well as studied further in the areas of yoga therapy. I ran a small yoga studio in Sacramento prior to getting married and moving to Encinitas in 2013.
