A Special Fall Offering

In the spirit of the fall equinox, we will be looking at mindfulness through the lense of balance.   Both nature and tradition beckon us back into contemplation practice during this time of year.  Please join us we explore this theme in various ways.  All levels of meditation experience welcome.

In 1994, at age fifteen, Wren was introduced to yoga and meditation.  Her formal education includes graduate studies in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa University, and an MA in Psychotherapy.  She’s lived at both a Buddhist retreat center and a rural yoga center. She has sat a month-long silent retreat in addition to many other extended residential retreats.  Her teachers include Reggie Ray, Pema Chodron, Thich Nhat Hanh, and former prisoner Sensei Fleet Maull, who led a street retreat that required meditating and sleeping on the streets of Denver, CO.  She continues her training with her original vipassana teacher, Shinzen Young, and currently works as an artist/illustrator and yoga/meditation facilitator.  She is a mother of two young children.
