In our busy world, contemplative time is a rare gift. Please join us for this precious opportunity to practice mindfulness within a supportive container. We will practice both seated meditation and conscious movement. There will be periods of guided instruction as well as self-directed silent practice. This offering is intended to deepen practice, therefore it will be a quieter gathering than usual.

In 1994, at age fifteen, Wren was introduced to yoga and meditation. Her formal education includes graduate studies in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa University, and an MA in Psychotherapy. She’s lived at both a Buddhist retreat center and a rural yoga center. She has sat a month-long silent retreat in addition to many other extended residential retreats. Her teachers include Reggie Ray, Pema Chodron, Thich Nhat Hanh, and former prisoner Sensei Fleet Maull, who led a street retreat that required meditating and sleeping on the streets of Denver, CO. She continues her training with her original vipassana teacher, Shinzen Young, and currently works as an artist/illustrator and yoga/meditation facilitator. She is a mother of two young children.
