Stacie joined Tree of Life in early 2018 after moving from Denver, where she worked at a high-volume birth center. Before attending midwifery school, she worked as a birth and postpartum doula, Lamaze childbirth educator, certified lactation counselor, and licensed massage therapist in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. She loves watching families be born and has a special passion for supporting new parents in the postpartum period. When she's not on call, Stacie enjoys knitting, reading, Sudoku, and watching her three children build sand castles.
Hannah joined the Tree of Life team after completing her midwifery education at Yale University in May 2017. She feels honored to help empower women in pregnancy and birth by creating safe and nurturing space for families. Hannah believes in physiologic birth and the power and strength of women. She is excited for the opportunity to serve her hometown community of Encinitas.
Leslie believes women's bodies are designed to bring forth and sustain life; and that every baby is a precious gift. Her passion is to give support to all birthing families during their special time of great change and deep joy.
Susan has been practicing midwifery for thirty years. She feels blessed to have found her true “calling” as an honor to share the special experience of each unique birth.
