Early in life, music has tremendous power to support children in all their growing capacities. Music forges unique connections in the brain, integrating mind, body, and emotions. It enhances a child's language, cognitive, emotional, social, physical development as well as their learning habits and dispositions. When you bring music into your child's life with Music Together®, you are providing them a wealth of musical experiences to share with the grownups who love them.
Blossom Music Together offers Music Together classes several days a week at Tree of Life, with class sizes between 6 and 12 children. These classes are the quintessential Music Together® class, where a child can attend from birth through age five. Younger children enjoy watching and imitating the older ones, while the older children learn by leading and modeling for the younger ones. This is a great opportunity for families who have more than one child to attend class together. There are many styles of learning and each child participates at his or her own level through singing, moving, chanting, exploring instruments, listening, giggling and watching.
During the classes, we sing, tap, bounce, and stomp; explore rhythm sticks, egg shakers, drums, and bells; and take the children along on a playful, musical ride. Any caregivers - parents, grandparents, nanny, aunts, uncles - can bring the children. All are welcome. It really is a family affair.
